Default Weird tail issue

I have a Jr vigor that I've been flying. I've started to get into a little more agressive flight and have noticed a few things that I see as not normal.

The thing I found is the tail not wanting to respond fast enough or at all. It only does this when I'm flying fast and bank pretty hard and try to swing the tail around to turn back the other way. If I go slow it works fine and if I fly left to right and swing the tail to the right it works fine.

So it's only going fast, and swinging the tail to the left and away from me. I've also see that my piro rate is faster one way compared to the other, but this I know is normal.

I have a futaba 401 gyro and the 9254 tail servo to go with it. I'm pretty sure I have full travel both directions on the tail.

Are my rates not set high enough? Another thing I thought about was maybe my head speed not fast enough and I don't have enough tail to pull it around. I don't know the head speed exactly, but I'd guess it to be around 1600ish, maybe a little lower.

Thank you for any help.

I am not surprised to hear this issue. I've had it before on a 600 electric model. It needs a lot of rotor speed for enough tail authority to handle the input torque as well as the weather-vane effect in higher speed flight. You might try some slightly larger tail blades. Or, more rotor speed if possible. I don't know how much the Vigor is up to...

I think I can get a little higher head speed and still be ok. Its pretty low now, noticeably so. Its a liittle under powered in my opinion since i have a 60 in it. I know it was made for a 60, but it definitely could use a 90 haha.

I think i have 105mm tail blades on it now, but id have to measure to be sure. I think i have some 115mm vblades that i could try on it.
