I know what you mean, my flybared 700LE flies so sweet with the DS 760 on it that I really don't want to go through the bother of the conversion.

Why mess with a good thing But if Angelos comes up with an FBL system, I'm sure it's going to be perfect and then I'll jump on the FBL band-wagon

I think he should make a list of all the people on this thread and we should be the first ones to get the unit, when it becomes available, at cost price...

What do you say Angele?

Ok, probably I'll hold my order for Futaba's FBL, and I join the Spartan Fan's club with the people who can wait until next summer and get the best of the best FBL system.

This will be highly sought after. Spartan's gyros became the benchmark for comparison. If they program the fbl aspect of it this will be a hit. " This is Sparta"

I dont think I can wait that long. I'll have to settle for a Mini-V or MicroBeast. Those are still two very good flybarless units. I doubt Futaba will come out with a Flybarless system geared towards the 550 and smaller sized ep heli croud. The one Futaba has coming out any day now looks like its more for larger sized and nitro helis, being that it comes with a built in govenor and all (yes I know you can probably turn the govenor off but why pay more for bells and whistles youre not going to be using).

Yeah, I gave up waiting and bought a BeastX also.
A pity because Spartan make some great products but it's just a case of too late to the market.

I loved my 760 so maybe in the future Spartan can give me something else to love.

I shure wish I could have just stayed with Spartan......

I still fly FlyBar and I use DS 760 gyros on both of my machines and love the holding power of them.

Now, you'll have to beat the simplicity of the setup and low price of the Beast X FBL system, which BTW is an excellent electronic. It is hard to find now, but shortly even Horizon Hobby will be selling it

That is my $.02

The spartan DS760 and quark were late on the scene too but they still kicked ass

The spartan will be top end FBL unit just like their gyros so only competition I see if Vbar and futaba

Bit of history from ME.....3g's BIGGEST hero.....Ive owned a Beast.......ive owned a 750 ......tried "Commanding" some helis and of course 3g. Tried and workd on a few TOMATO V-bars.(Liked those the best)

Sold the beats......sold the 749 ( although it WAS nice) couldnt really command much except my sticks so thats gone....3g is still around because I think its good for a LAUGH.And the TOMATO? Had to return it to a buddy.

I just got a CHERRY "PROTOS" (second one) W/FBL conversion and will be holding for my man to give the word.

I shall wait because.........once its out Its all that I will be buying ANYWAY.

Please feel free to read between the lines and have a laugh at my expense.....believe me.......Its been paid for in spades by this beauty of a unit.....PEACE!
