Default What's the most efficient BL setup for flight time?

Say I want some no-bog, better-than stock performance but nothing crazy. But I want to maximize flight time.

What's the most efficient BL setup?

Near stock with lots of flight time is the C05M with a XP-7A. You can use the stock tail with this setup so no need for bigger tail motor (equals longer flight time). But there will still be a little bit of bog here and there, it wont be a powerhouse. You can choose 8t or 9t pinion. After that, for more power and less flight time, there is the HP05, but it needs new tail and so less flight time still.

Hp05 will need a bigger battery unless you enjoy 3min flight times.

I'm running C05M with a flashed XP-7A and 8t pinion, extended boom and stock tail motor with oversky 300mah 35c batteries. I do have the occasional small TBO but is not much at all. I have 12 flights on this setup and with 6 minutes flight i'm only putting 200mah back in the cell. So on paper i should get just over 7 minutes of flight time. Keep in mind i'm not try to fly hardcore 3D just sport flying. I havn't starting using the governor feature yet, so those time are with a flat 75% throttle curve and 75% pitch max. All in all I'm very impressed with this setup, although hardcore 3Der's might not be.

Good luck with whatever setup you chose.

HP05s, Xp7a, 550 Hyperon, Goverened at 75% = 7+ minutes. It's a good combo for power and flight time.

yeah we have that set up with extened boom on my fathers he got used. were using maddog 220 ,hyp 250, Tp and nano tech batterys with it
stock HS on both of our mcpx brushed are 4200 the Bl one tach 5200
so quite a bit more power i can still do whatever at the end of a 4 min flight with the Bl one where on a 3 min flight with stock it has no power for much more then hover.
