Default rdlohr's tray - two thumbs up !

Hello guys,

I just recieved rdlohr's tray from Rick himself, and had the chance to install it and all i can say is WOW - this little gem is unbelieveabely helpful ! i think its a must to all Gaui owners.

After installing it I moved my gyro \ Rx to the tray, ESC from side frame into bottom plate and re routed all the wires. this resulted in:

1. MUCH neater wiring
2. Perfect CG !! this would have a sagnificant influence on flying performance in 3D !
3. much easier acces to all electronic componenets for mainetenance
4. overall much cleaer look of the machine with no elecs hanging off the sides.

Canopy still fits perfect of course. Here are pics of the machine after the mod.

As you can tell probably, im very excited from the results of using this little tray !

Thanks Rick for a great product !

+1 on 13DM's post. One slight mod that I did on mine was to radius the front corners. I used a disc sander, but lacking that a file or sanding block would work with a little more effort.

That's a good idea. I assume it's to protect your canopy for when you crash.

Next batch I make I will toy with that a bit.

Lior put a cf tube over your tr control rod, that noodle of a tail pushrod you will not like at all. Just a thought to improve your tail performance.:o
