Default Tail Blades Keep Breaking?

I have a Helibug Trex 700 conversion and the tail blades keep breaking at the grips. One set of KBDD and some Radikal plastic blades. The headspeed is set for 1700. This doesn't make sense.

So when they break, some of the blade is still in the grips? When this happens do both break at the same time?

Plastic blades fatigue and break. Don't run them.

+1, ditch the plastic blades and buy name brand CF blades.

Make sure they are not too tight, tail blades are light and need to fairly easily fling out to the proper position.

Make sure shafts, bearing and grips are in good condition.

Default Tail Blades Keep Breaking?

I had the same issue , I will find my post and link it here . The issue is in your tail shaft or the tail hub.

kBDD's are quality blades

And yes I broke both KBDD and CF blades on the blade grips . I was baffled !!!

Good find, a new shaft with new bearings are typically is at .001" or less.

When a tail shaft is bent that much indicates that bearings and the hub were damaged too. Tail shaft bearings should also be checked.

Oh yes !! +1 in fastflyers comment .. If you've flown with that shaft, it's damaged your bearings pretty badly!

They might not be gone yet, but they just had a huge chunk of the their life taken away.

To play it safe , bearings should be replaced too
