Default Rebuilt my SR

Last week a very kind gentleman sent me a few parts for no reason other than to be nice and help me out. He is a member here in HF, I'm not gonna post his name but he knows who I'm talking about. Well, one of the parts happened to be a motor for my SR which was the last part that I needed to rebuild the heli which I did yesterday.

The reason for this post is first to thank this gentleman for helping me out in my time of need. I couldn't be more appreciative of his kind gesture and I am extremely thankful for him being such a great guy and helping me out and, second, wanted to let everyone know what kind of people are members here on Helifreak and that there are still some good people out there.

Here is a picture of my just rebuilt SR:

Congratulations on getting your SR back on track! Probably not much a chance to fly given weather though I suspect.
Looking good man

Glade to hear you have your SR back in one piece again

And well done your friend who helped with the parts to get it fixed. Like you say, it's nice to hear that there are some nice, helpful souls out there.

Looking good!!

MB

Unfortunately, you are right. The weather up here was pretty bad yesterday, and no I didn't get a chance to take the SR out for a flight. The only other problem I had with it is I nicked one of the servo wires on the new servos I had bought. I just took a spare servo that I had for one of my other helis and used it for an elevator servo. The specs aren't exactly the same, but very close. Should be good enough for a temporary flight til I get another one.

MB, thankfully there still are a few good people out there. My friend really helped me out when I needed it the most. If he hadn't done what he did, I probably wouldn't have got my SR fixed until after the holidays. I couldn't be more greatful!!!!! : -)
