Default micro heli swashplate rod question?

Hi, thanks for reading my post.

I replace the swashplate with a microheli and I just lost the rod that suppose to move the plate up and down. What can kind of rod do i use to replace it. I threw away the instructions. I don't understand why Microheli just didn't have that rod attach to the plate.

thanks.

I'm kinda confused. The servo links move the swashplate up and down. I don't understand the question as the links aren't supplied with the swash? Unless you are talking about the anti-rotation pin.

It is a 1.50mm diameter carbon rod. It came in my package. It's black and you have to mount it yourself. Maybe you missed it.

It's only used if you have the side mounted AR guide. The X-Frame utilizes a rear mounted AR guide. If you are using a stock frame, you will need to attach that rod into the side of the swash. CA can be used to secure it.

Edit: I didn't read your post correctly. As someone above mentioned, it is a 1.5mm carbon rod.

Cyano-acrylate

Many super glues contain it, not sure if that's what it's called over there but that's the general term used over here.

Just a tiny drop on the pin will hold it secure.

Apologies for writing acetate-have changed to the correct wording

Sanitary silicone, used around wash basins etc. is a very good fixer for the pin connectors. It's similar to the silicone used as stock, holds well, and is easily removed.

I tried shoe goo but that didn't seem to want to adhere to the plastic plug surface.

Use hot glue. It holds tight and is easy to remove if needed.

That's curious. I have been using shoe goo regularly for loose connectors and it has always worked for me. Did yours fall off or did it come off too easily when it was handled? In my case I just put a dab on with a match stick and leave it. It has not failed me yet.

Make sure that you thoroughly clean away any residue of the stock silicone or nothing much will stick. It may also be a good idea to scratch the surfaces to give any adhesive a better grip.

Hi, yes for some reason I just couldn't get a fix with shoe goo on the connectors, tried cleaning with surgical spirit and even meths. It would set and then just peel away with no grip. But I had some sanitary silicone to hand and tried it and I use that now with good results.

I do use shoe goo on the mSR X main motor, and when I replace my tail motors on the mSR X and mCP X,and it holds really well.
