Default Wacky idea:- Spartan Quark on an old Blade SR?

O.K. so as per the title, has anybody here ever tried to use a Spartan Quark on a Blade SR with the stock tail ESC and electric motor?

I know that the Quark is ONLY meant to be used with digital servos, not a tail ESC and motor combo, but would I be doing any damage to the electronics by giving it a go?

Thanks!!

I'm really not sure about damaging the esc 3in1 unit you should ask the multi rotor guys about that. My 2 cents is that your not gonna get much better performance from upgrading the gyro. The main issue with the tail on the sr is the sr tail system.

I say this because I put that strange side ways tipped eflight gyro on a Heli with a tail servo and pitch slider and it performed just fine.

Thanks Pilot Error I'll just leave it with the stock Gyro on it then, like you say, the SR's motor driven tail is not a great set up, I doubt any gyro can help with that LOL.
