What, like Align is supposed to sit by and do nothing while third party manufacturers build a market around accessorizing their helis? That's absurd! What's to stop KDE from making their own helis? Unless it's patent protected, this information is in the public domain - meaning anyone can use it. Disc brakes, seatbelts, airbags, and lots of other things are pretty much standard now. Was that stuff ripped off? That would be a hard case to make. Any company that ignores technological evolution does so at their own peril. Align is demonstrating that they can respond effectively to industry changes and challenges. This is a highly desireable trait, not something to be ridiculed.

EDIT: Unless KDE sold them rights to use said design, the shapes are just too similar to simply be a clone of the idea.

That said, I'm sure Align's is just as good, and will be half the price. (KDE products are stingy)

Now, too bad Align wouldn't add all these upgraded parts in their kits, I don't mind paying extra for a kit with much better parts (along with DFC heads as stock though that ones probably already coming).

I wonder if the new E ship just might be a 750?? I find it very interesting that new motor is called 750mx....Now that would interest me greatly. The weight of a 700 with a nice light disk loading and 2000 to 2100 rpm...

Just got a set of the Align HV servos. 3 cyclics and one tail servo. Dropping them in the 700e now. Upgrading from DS610's. Not flashy looking servos but that's low on the priority list. The specs look insanely good.

The 60EFL Pro uses a 650MX motor, and thats still a 600. But yeah, something bigger than a 700 would be nice.

Larger isn't the issue for me, it's tail authority at lower headspeeds. I would like to run 713's with 115's and not have to be concerned about blade collision. One or two inches in boom length would likely accommodate both.

The need for 115's might be out the door, as I heard through the grape vine that they're upping the gear ratio.

About time. Other new 700 class machines have a 4.6-5 ratio now. The tail design is robust enough to handle this and extra tail thrust is needed to handle 10kW power plants. In addition low headspeed 3D is fun and the 700e has never excelled at this.
