I think it's a smart business move and will go a long way towards busting up E-Flite's monopoly of the segement. E-Flite got me and many others in and deserve success for that, yet use unforgivably poor electronics in their ships and for that I'd not be sad to see them go and be replaced by an outfit willing to spend a fraction more on electronics fit for purpose.

But the mSR is a dead-set winner and it's no surprise to see Align come out with something that looks... very similar... still not digging on the Tx though. That's what sets the mSR apart. I'll be watching this space very closely.

Plus it'll be a breath of fresh air to see top pilots like Szabo contractually permitted to show off what 100-size FP birds can do! That, I really can't wait for. I really want to see how far someone with genuine talent can push them.

What's wrong with the MSR? I'd have been excited if Align had come out with a CP 100. It'll be just another indoor FP heli which EFlite have already done brilliantly.

I bought an MSR and then sold it.
It didnt like to turn left...i tried mixing it out but with strange side effects and the factory mix was strange also.
I understand it is required for it to fly as it does.

At first I thought my heli was defective but I flew my friends msr and it flew the same way.
He didnt notice it untill I told him to try flying a left circle or a nice round figure eight.
It will be interesting to see aligns results in this catagory.
I,m hoping it will turn left as well as it turns right.

Should've used walkera 4g6s as a reference.

There are not many 6ch heli in that range.

I think the trex 100 will flop badly.

There is simply no reason to buy this when there're tons of FP helis to choose from.

Just because Align wants a model in this section of the market doesn't mean it's not already saturated with choices.

It's the 6 channel walkera 4g6s sized sector that has almost NO competition.

Align knows their customers - we're all just little kids at heart and would get a $100 toy that reads "Trex" just to put it next to our larger helis. The 250 sold very nicely on that, the 100 would do even better.

They could have at least given the thing a 90 degree flybar...

The Trex-100 has got nothing on my modded out mSR!

I put the sticker there for orientation... when I fly this little thing in front of my house at dusk it would always blend in and throw me off so I put the little holographic sticker on there to help a bit. But really I'm just dreaming of a little CP trex.

Eflite, you've got yourself some serious competition!

Seriously, I was expecting a smaller version of their 250, not another 120SR.

Not going to lie but i am going to buy it, I was going to go MSR but having never flown their stuff I am kinda iffy buying it. But since i have flown Alingn stuff and it flys well this has my vote over the msr and I have yet to experience either...... I think that's what they were going for.

To me, one of the biggest attractions of the mSR is it can be bought bind & fly for us Spektrum types. If the Align unit can't be done that way, I see no need to get it when I can get a similar product without yet another tx laying around.

Mannn....
come on Align... your going to fight a battle that can't be won.

I would rather get Walkera's V120D02. It's cheep and Flybarless!

And if they did manage to make a CP the size of an MSR it would most definitely be added to my fleet!
