If you want to fly casualy yes, if you want to compete it's the other way around, once the technique levels out a small mechanical advantage can make you win. Maybe this is for the top tier of competitors but I always aim at that. To win you have to be sharp on technique AND have a perfect machine.

You are missing the point. An advantage is an advantage, mechanical or otherwise.

No need to go to a non HF friendly site - they're all on the Banshee page

The tail pulley is Pozidriv - easier to find in countersunk than hex drive

AFAICS the frame ones are the usual German plated M3 hex - some of the photo angles make them loook a bit like Torx !

The frame bolts above the shock absorber is a normal hex drive! The tail pulley bolts look like normal phillips bolts.

Not to beat a dead horse, but on the price:

For those that think it is outlandish, I point to the Kyosho Caliber 90, JR Sylphide, the high end Hirobo ships, etc... They call carry prices very similar to the banshee's, so the banshee isn't the first design with proud manufacturers.

That said... Too rich for my blood. Getting a Diabolo. Congrats to you all!!!!

Proud manufacturers, ha! That's a good one!! I think the Banshee has the 2100 in its cost, the JR and Hirobo don't. I payed 2400 for a Sylphide and it hurts till today. I don't feel bad about the Banshee at all.

Only by having purchased one you are incorporated to the page by them, there is no way of doing it from outside even though the option is there. It's a 59 people forum, 50 owners (or less I've heard) and 9 designers, official pilot and don't know who else.
