KALT BARON 20 w/manuals
I have inherited an old Kalt Baron 20 Helicopter from my brother, it was flown successfully by a shop employee but never by the original owner. it looks like its not had much use at all, the blade tips are in pretty good shape too. I'm an electric plane guy though...
from what i can tell the Heli is complete, just disassembled. i had high hopes of getting it in the air but as a beginner i feel i should go with an electric, as i'm not a glow guy. what it has: extra tail rotor skid/fin, looks like a bunch of them. the head looks complete but i didn't assemble it to find out the manual is complete, with the big schematic has an OS Max .28 and a bubble muffler, the needle valve is missing though, i did a quick search and it looks like $10-15 to replace, i have not checked the servos, i plan to check the battery but i don't hold much hope, but i can if you would like, the gyro looks nice, i also didn't test it, i've never used a gyro so i don't know if i could give much insight unless someone has specific instructions the main shaft is straight, i checked it first thing, but it needs some lube as its a bit stiff, the tail rotor spins good and the pitch mechanism seems to work good. the body canopy is rough, the plastic is pretty thin and beat from transportation, the clear part is in good shape though. anyways like i said i'm a plane guy who wanted to check out a heli...but i needed so much stuff to get this going that i decided to sell it to someone who can better use it, even if its for parts i realize this is my first post here but i'm on RCgroups as well, i'll ship it out if need be probably 2 boxes since it doesn't fit nicely in the box anymore, though i have most of it in there, i'd have to repack it to ship it. so anyways i'm up for a trade for a FP or CP 400 size electric Heli or electric plane stuff $150 shipped? though i'd rather meet someone if possible! |

OT: for beginners I would reccomend something bigger like 500-600 class. Smaller helis are harder to fly.
