Default 3GX Bobbing in Elevator direction not gain.

Hi guys i wonder if anyone here can stop me throwing my heli into the bin. I am now at the point where i give up, nothing i do will solve the below problem and i solve mechanical/electrical problems in my day job.

Background: my first FBL heli, to join my collection of flybar helis including 250, 500ESP and 600ESP. Ive spent far t0o many evening trying to sort this out and cant waste anymore. My new 700E seems to mechanically fine, some vibrations but nothing too bad but no matter what i do with the gain pots or inside the 3Gx can i get rid of the heli bobbing in a hover AFTER a forward or backwards command.

If im hovering in my garden and i give the heli a small but sharp right or left command the heli snaps in that direction, no bounce and thats with the gain at 48. But if i do the same forward it bobs alot at 45 and stupid amounts at 90 (max), i thought gain is too high but get this.....if i set the gain to 3 (yes three!) (lowest) it still does it, only less. Ive tried lowing the stop gain in the software but this doesnt remove it either and my headspeed is showing at 2100 rpm in the castle data logger so its not low headspeed.

My C of G is fine too and the heli has not crashed, its not even been out for some FFF as i just dont trust it.

Please can someone help me out as i really feel like ive waster 1K one something i cant use.

Cheers

Whats powering it? What settings are loaded? Can you get the elev servo to hunt with light load applied to the horn? Head speed?

I'm fighting the same problem on my 600e. sorry to say i don't believe there will be a solution to all 3gx problems. i just bought ar7200bx - as a beginning set it on my 450 but i can tell you - its a different world: no problems and better then that the feel is much more connected and natural between the fingers and the heli. if i find a solution i will post.

I've been struggling with this too. I'm using 3gx ver 2.1 and today made a significant improvement to the bob (up down rocking of the heli). I reduced the "Swashplate Level Speed" from the default 50 to 40 and saw a massive reduction in this issue. Hope this may help.

I lowered the elevator gain dial on top the Unit and mine disappeared. About 40%
Haven't tried any real fast forward flight yet due to location.
