Oh wow, that's weird! Maybe there just wasn't enough demand for it so they decided to go with something more popular in an attempt to boost sales? That's kinda sad because the Gpro is actually a good unit that I had good luck with on my X3 but there is just no support for it when you have questions. That is what led me to try another system, MSH Brain, and now that I have one that flies great AND has awesome support I would never go back.

Hmmmm.....

I see that, I have had great luck with the 3 Gpro units that I have. I imagine Align is having trouble marketing the Gpro with the stigma of the 3GX still looming? Not only that, Align, like a few other manufacturers, is placing much more R&D into multi rotors/drones and not so much into evolving their conventional helicopters. It may be more cost effective for them to include a more time proven FBL unit rather than include their own that a fair percentage of pilots won't use anyway? It's probably no different than using Castle ESC's in their larger helis rather than their own branded ESC's.

I recall it was mentioned in an interview with Align major European distributor Freakware in the latest issue of RC Heli Action magazine, that Freakware did manage to get Align to configure and market super combo boxes of their heli's to be shipped with microbeast fbl systems too. This alongside with their own Gpro fbl equiped super combo's.
