Default Asp engine.

So I picked up a kit and didn't realise it came with an asp engine.. I looked them up and for the price I think it's a disposable engine lol. Does anyone know how to tune it? Same way as an os? I will give this motor a shot but probably order an os this spring. Maybe a good motor to learn tuning on in case I pop it lol.

600E and 600N uses different mainshaft. You need 600N dfc shaft.

So I'm a little confused. I tried putting this DFC head on my 600n. I now know it needs the 600n shaft - the ball links on my swash are way to small though.. can I just put some trex 700 balls on it or is this a effed up kit??

The newer kits come with upgraded 5mm balls and ball links.. the old ones were 4.75mm.

What will I need to convert my older style 600n to dfc? A new swash or different balls?

Search the forum for "convert FB" and "converting to FBL". There are a number of different ways to do this.

All I need to know is if a 700 size ball fits and works. You are not helping daw. If you don't know the answer save the search the forum idea.. obviously I did that's why I am asking now

Apologies. KTMDIESEL is asking the same in another current thread. Perhaps keep an eye on it to see if an answer pops up.
