Default Tail slide ring question

Just doing some maintenance and getting some of the slop and wear out while I can't fly (too damn cold here in Michigan).

Looking at the tail slide ring, part number AUD0014...

I have significant wear where the pitch linkage goes into the ring. The pitch lever is only a couple flights old, so I'm going to keep the one I have (I have a spare for later), but the ring is pretty hollowed out, so I picked up a "Tiger" version of the ring in a box of ancient parts from my local hobby shop. Same part number but the Tiger version doesn't appear to have a "stop", so I assume it will, theoretically spin with the shaft, even thought it's riding on a bearing.

Does anyone know if this will cause problems?

In the meanwhile, I'm filling in the enlarged worn out spot on the existing one with a dab of JB weld, so that the prongs are not at the end, wearing the same spot further...it will have a fresh spot with normal tolerances which should buy more flights before I have to replace it.

Edit...I was just lazy and put the part number into google expecting it to have a link to Audacity (it does of course) but it also brought up this link: Anyone want to buy a Pantera sans electronics and engine for $880?

That ebay ad appears to be a money laundering op..
