Default 550sx v2 anti static.

On my 690sx I got a anti static kit. But on my 550sx, did I not get it?
Or should I just make a one for it..? Or not needed on the 550?

Thanks

Default More lube

Silicon lube on the belt all but eliminated the charge from building up on mine. Any Van De Graaf forum or instructible will tell you that oil and lube are your worst enemies if you want to build static, so it a good rule to live life by. When its a little dry MORE LUBE PLEASE

Dude just ground the tail boom to the (-) terminal of the esc. (if you use spek/jr)

If you got futaba tx/rx system...shyaaa...do nothing...static proof! Just google/confirm it. Like zero probs. My belted trex 500 w/6400+ flights: had zero brownouts, zero re-binding issues!

Static hits are no good for any electronics not just rx system. You should not really risk an expensive machine just to save few bucks.

Call you on this one.
My prototype 6Hv Ultimate went in due to static hit with V-Bar/Futaba.
Confirmed by log "Check sum' errors" and "Aileron/Elevator and Rudder Signal losses.
Went into fail safe, zero pitch and we just watched it drift till it hit ground.

Sucked one because parts weren't yet available and two was during a speed comp and it was cookin.

Belted always always take measures against static build up.
