You can use the Y-cable you have to series charge the two 3S packs. Discharging works the same as charging, just in reverse

Make sure your 6S heli does not kill your two 3S packs by trying to over-discharge them.

When you are discharging the pair of packs, the only connections are through the discharge leads, so order does not matter. The way the Y-cable is made, you cannot connect the batteries incorrectly.

When you are balance charging, you are using the discharge leads and the balance taps, so order is important. The Number 1 battery is the one that has its negative (black) lead connected directly to the charger. Its positive (red) lead is connected to the Number 2 battery negative lead.

Good luck, but be kind to your battery. If you try to overdischarge it, it could puff, or worse.
