Default Stuck in some setup mode?

Background: Originally had it programmed with governor store, lipo slow cutoff, and the typical 700mx timing etc. Spooled up fine, took off, and with a small pitch pump got into what I believe was the slow cutoff as the headspeed dropped and the heli settled down to land. Did some troubleshooting with the prog card trying various settings, and now the motor will not run, and I don't get any beeps when I connect the esc to the flight pack. I know it has the ability to make the beeps because when I pull the throttle cable and put the prog card inline I can get the confirmation beeps.

As a side question, do I have to pull the throttle cable everytime and put the extension lead to the throttle channel for the settings to store? I don't get confirmation beeps otherwise, but I have read on here that as long as you aren't setting the endpoints its ok, just not sure why it wont make the motor beeps without connecting to the throttle channel.

Also, any idea why I was getting into the soft cutoff so quickly? My flight packs are brand new 45c thunderpower 5000 mah that were fully charged - what voltage setting are people using for the soft cutoff?

Going to try going through the whole thing again tomorrow, any help is much appreciated!

Update:

Got the motor running again, but when I did the full run-up for governor store I didn't get the tail bounce to signify it captured max headspeed. Also, for some reason I can't seem to load the esc settings to the prog card. Going to do a test flight again today, will post back how it goes.

Ok, so I nailed the head speed slowdown to the one way bearing slipping. Taking it apart to do the set screw and jb weld mod.

Any idea why I can't load the esc settings to the prog card? And the lack of tail bump for gov store? Thinking about just wiring up the lead to take advantage of the sk720 gov.
