MCPX BL Elevator Connector
Hi guys, had a crash and the elevator servo connector popped off and that little pad is missing. Does anyone knows if that leg on the servo has a function? Does it need to be soldered? I tried to trace where it goes and it seems to go nowhere?! Please let me know guys Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You talking about the servo MCU? Is there a way to solder the connector leg to a little enamelled wire and to the correspondent MCU leg? Can you please indicate which? Thanks

I have soldered jumpers to the remaining trace in the past for a quick fix. You have to carefully, very carefully, scrape away the enamel coating from the trace with an exacto knife to expose the copper. Then it's just a matter of soldering a jumper from the leg of the connector to the copper trace.

Hmmm thanks for your reply. What is the jumper? The little tab where the connector leg is soldered to?
Thanks again 😁 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Something like this.
I broke the ribbon cable on my 200 QX so I ran jumper wires to replace it. The wires are solder to the connector on one side and directly to the borad on the other side.

I see! I will try to find which pin that leg belongs to using another working board. I will let you know.

I failed to find the MCU (LOL). Are you able to indicate where it is and roughly where the servos are supposed to connect to? Thanks a lot! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
