Sorry, 3GX compact? You mean the 3GX. The actual USB cable or the USB interface?
The 3G USB interface work on either 3G or 3GX

I don't know it that usb has BT or just has a wire i can't see.

For use to tune after setup and is usb only. No BT. There hard to find, I looked a bit but only found the 3G adapter. It works with 3GX too.. The only difference between the to is when 3GX came out they made it black and stamped 3GX on it. I'll keep looking for a 3GX adapter. The 3G is easy to find. You don't need it to setup, just to tweek settings and view other items like how much gain you have dialed in.
Go to HF adds and put it under Items wanted. Some have spares like I used to but I gave them all away

3GX is actually my fav. I got it down pat and easy to setup.
My Beastx and Vbar don't have as crisp of cyclic like I like and don't have separate roll rates for Aileron and Elevator. I feel more connected. Also can use DRs and Expo as well as raise rudder end points to speed up piros.

I have a 3GX still NIB with the Align seals intact. I'm still deciding if I want to part with it. It came with my 500EFL Super Combo kit.
I'm sure it would need to be updated.

I think the search is over. onemorecrash had a extra cable that he thinks is the one for the 3GX and he was nice enough to send it to me for free, What a nice guy and true Helifreaker . Guess i owe him a cold one

the only reason i even dealing with 3GX is cuz my k-bar is doing odd things kinda like a RROD on ar7200BX. it has done it twice now grr. yes i love repairing stuff for no fault of my own.

Cool, I used to have loads of spares. Gave them all away.

At least the 3GX NIB came with the USB interface, My BX Plus didn't come with the USB interface, had to pay extra and I think it was to much. Need any tips with the 3GX PM me. BTW the firmware must be updated ver, to ver. Can't skip.
