Lightbulb hot wires?

Greetings,

I've been following and learning from the discussions on this forum for quite a few weeks now and finally my first post.

Got the ESky Dauphin a few months before and decided to upgrade it after flying it for quite a bit. Got the following items replaced -

i. Stock motors with the Xtreme 180s
ii. Metal upgrade for the heli (includes the outer/inner shaft and flybar top-cap)
iii. Xtreme blades

Still running on the stock battery (7.4V/900mAh/20C) and other parts (servo/4-in-1, etc).

After the upgrade, the helicopter seems pretty steady and controllable for a while, but that's it.

It simply falls to the ground like a dead duck after about 30 seconds of flight. The 4-in-1 light turns a solid red and there is a steady low tone coming from the heli. The wire and the fuse connecting the battery also seems to "heat up".

I've tried reverting to the old motors, but the problem still persists.

Further I have 3 batteries of the same capacity, and I have tried all of'em.

Much appreciate any ideas!

Best

Youve probably fried the 4-1 mate. The Extreme motors draw too much current. When upgrading to Extreme motors its a good idea to install inline fuses to protect your electrics from excessive current draw.
