Capacity: 2700mAh Voltage: 3S1P / 3 Cell / 11.1V Discharge: 25C Constant / 35C Burst Weight: 203g (including wire, plug & case) Dimensions: 137x15x44mm 117mm = 4.6in and 137mm = 5.4in. That's almost a full inch difference Does anyone else know if these batteries will fit at 137mm in length? |

They may fit lengthwise under the canopy, it's pretty long. But they are pretty wide and flat, they may be too wide.
Did you order them already? If it hasn't been processed, you might be able to stop them and get something else with the store credit. I've been using the 2200 nanotechs and the 2200 turnigy. Good power, about 6 minutes of easy flight, just a few flips here and there.

Yep, ordered and processed. I can order the right size and just re-sell these as new, I guess.

And you never know.. they might fit... the canopy is pretty roomy, may just be a matter of strapping them in a certain way.

So I am really interested in this heli, What do you all think of it as a begginer CP heli. I have a V200D01 FP heli and I am getting a little bored with it.
Where is the best place to buy an RTF model from. Im looking for one with a Devo 7 or 7E. Thanks |

Not to turn you away from the V450D03, but if you like the size of V200D01, just get a Master CP. Cheaper...comes with a Devo 7 or Devo 7E for the same price.

If you're going for a 450, get the V450D03. It is the best helicopter in the 450 size for the price if you're looking to learn/train. |

I purchased my V450D03 from Banggood. $235 with free shipping. That's for the BNF. I'm not sure what type of transmitter you have or if you'll need a new one. eBay is a great place to find like new, mint condiiton Devo 7's. I've purchased two on eBay in the past two weeks for $50. You can also check here and RCGroups for them.
I also purchased my batteries, like vronny, from HobbyKing. |

by searching eBay (UK) for "112mm lipo", "113mm lipo" (all the way up to 130mm lipo, including description), I came across these three batteries.
They are probably the same battery, but maybe worth a try anyway ? I have ordered my battery-less BNF v450d03 from Banggood, and it hasn't turned up yet. I have ordered 2x Zippy Compact 2450mah from HobbyKing and they haven't come yet either. but I might buy one of these batteries to see if they are better or worse than the Zippy Compacts. My experience with the V120D02S has been that original FullRiver Walkera batteries (WKLIPO017) are the good batteries. Storm are like scam batteries, and other supposedly compatible ones, and also Turnigy nano-tech 850Mah, are far far inferior to the Walkera original. When Banggood get stock of the original V450D03 battery I'll buy one of those too (only $38 there). Anyway, these are what I found: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/11-1V-2800...item53f63bed3b http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3000mAh-35...item5d3c21e07d http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3000MAH-11...item460dc9c6e2 edit: actually, now that I look further. If I just search (including description) for "lipo 117" (without the mm), there's loads, e.g. this one: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BEAST-DNA-...item4ac1f4251a connectors need changing obviously.. |

I like the v450do1 its 389 with a devo 10 ...and is tricked out new..... seeing how the v450do2 and v450do3 are more plastic n cheaper versions ...I would assume that u could buy v450d01 replacement parts as u break stuff n beef it up as necessary..

Just clicked "Buy"
Hello everyone,
I just ordered a V450D03 from Helipal, I know they are not the cheapest around but I've bought from them many times and they are very reliable. I can't wait for this bird to arrive. I already have a V200D01 and a Genius CP V2 from Walkera and they are my favourite helis. I wanted to move up from these smaller sized helis so I got a used Align TRex 450 Sport V1 from my brother-in-law and after almost two months we have not been able to set it correctly to my Devo 8s. It has been really frustrating... So I decided that I would buy a V450D03 and stop the frustration... I know there are people who swear by Aligns but I decided to give walkera another try. And besides, since I am still a noob with CP helis I hope the V450D03 will be less stressful and thus finally FUN to fly. What sense does it make to have a great Align Heli if you are afraid to fly it because it is so expensive to repair... Well, I'd love to hear your comments. Ivan aka Helifan |

You'll love the V450D03, it's an awesome heli, very stable and fun to fly. I'm not a heavy 3D flyer, so I can't comment on 3D performance, but it does everything I want it to .

Re: V450D03 catagory request
It was a total random event but I crashed my d03 from about 20-25 feet in the air. It dropped with no power because I was doing a flip and forgot to go to stunt mode first... stupid mistake.
It hit hard and flat on its right side. No damage at all. Picked it up and couldn't believe it. Flew it right away like nothing had happened. Total luck. But still I cant believe how hard it hit and it survived with nothing more than a tiny crack in the canopy that you can't even see if not looking for it. I love this heli.
