Except for the motor. 450x has the 440. And don't forget different blades. The woodies won't fit. You'll need fiberglass, frp or CF blades.

If you don't swap out the motor, your wood blades (which WILL fit in the blade grips) will be fine. The reason for CF blades on the 450x is the increased head speed from the faster motor.

The FBL doesn't require carbon fiber blades. Proof? The very 300x that you are tired of.

You are so right. I had the tarot head (that everyone seems to be using) in mind.

Well IMHO it's just not that good tome but hey I'm a noob.Check out the 300xforum for thoughts.
Maybe I need to clarify myself...my 300x isn't that good..just brought for the beastx.was a deal at 220 at my lhs.
Also have a 450 3d with theflybar my original ? Was cant I rip my beastx off of the 300 and install on my 450 3d to basically make it a 450x? And if so what else do I need to do to make this happen....other than the fbl less conversion kit

If you don't swap the motor for the extra pop.....nothing.

Not even new blades. Different blades will perform different/possibly better then the stock Woodies. But they WILL work at the lower head speed of the stock 3D motor for FBL.

I would personally get CF blades as most of them are going to perform better...but it isn't required to get it in the air and set up.

You will need the fbl head, 450 links, a servo extension, blades and the beast x. It makes a huge difference going fbl on this Heli.

If you buy the official blade fbl conversion kit (ampdraw has good price and it's nice to use 450x head parts from lhs when crash) then the only other thing u should get are other blades than the stock wood blades (not required but perform much better).
