It sounds like the Hausler 450 is a TRex 450 clone. Based on that, start with the basics:

-The main rotors should turn clockwise when looking down at them.
-The tail rotor should turn counter-clockwise when looking at the heli from the right (so that the nose is to the right, tail to the left). Put differently, the nose-end tail blade should rotate up into the main rotor wash.

If those are correct, but it spins without you giving any rudder input, next go to your radio and gyro settings.

You need the gyro to be in Heading Hold mode, instead of Rate mode. I don't know how that's controlled on your gyro. In some cases it's set by the radio, or if your radio/gyro don't support that, there may be little adjusters on the gyro to control that.

In Rate mode, the heli will likely spin. In Heading Hold mode, the gyro should make adjustments to make sure the heli doesn't spin.

If you're in Heading Hold mode already, it's possible that your gyro is correcting in the wrong direction. There is going to be some way to set the gyro to either something like Normal or Reverse. If the gyro is correcting in the wrong direction, it will actually amplify the spin, and just make you spin faster.

Also just make sure that your radio's rudder channel is set correctly, so that the tail blades pitch is going in the proper direction. This being reversed won't put you into an uncontrolled spin. But it will definitely make it harder to fly

Good luck; if this doesn't help, I'm sure other folks here will get you sorted out.

the most likely cause is the Gryo needs to be reversed. Other possible causes, the belt that drives the tail rotor could be twisted the wrong direction or twice which would be causing excessive drag (that would also cause the belt to fail quickly).

Hope that helps.

What they said also check the front tail pulley as it might be slipping on the shaft. the plastic ones like to do this from time to time.

to test this out, hold the tail so it does not move/turn and rotate the head, does it slip or hold? the belt might slip causing a popping sound.

A common fix for the spinning issue is to reverse the gyro channel, this sets your gyro in rate mode and it will not lock. If you can power up the esc, then move the tail and watch the slider. The slider should move OPPOSITE the direction you are moving the tail. With this done if the heli still spins wildly then go into reverse set and change the RUDDER channel.
