Wow! Lucky catch indeed. He's lucky to have kept all his fingers. Gotta love stupid people. *shakes head*

That's some serious piro action. Judging by the attire and the opening conversation I was expecting some serious carnage. But in the end, it actually looked like some good flying.

I caught my 450 once. It was actually it's first time flying with training gear. I was lubing it up (the heli) and I went to move something which ended up tipping over and somehow managed to turn off the throttle hold. The collective was at full pitch and she just rose off the counter inches in front of me with the RPM building. Instinct took over and I reached out with both have and grabbed it out of the air before it struck me or the ceiling! SCARY!!

I've seen that before. In fact, I was about 40 feet behind Justin when he did that. Got some good stills of it too. Do a search for SoCal Rotor Challange (Yes, misspell it 'cuz that's how the thread is titled) and the pics are in there

That's why being prejudice is bad and not to judge a book by it's cover plus they should give a user option to have a 2 switch throttle hold instead of just one. If any of the 2 switches are flipped it stays on throttle hold.

I haven't laughed so hard for a longg time in so long. (with what is bolded)
