Default furion 6 canopy repair

i bought a crashed furion 6 and have the airframe ready to go, i've replaced all the bearings and one way and it all looks as good as new, the canopy however has some hangar rash, im assuming that this wasn't the canopy that was on when it crashed as the side frame was damaged and i think it(the canopy) is in good shape apart from the usual cracks and scratched paint, my question is , anyone know what kind of paint was used to paint these canopies or what colours i could use to repair it , also where some of the paint has flaked it would need to be filled to bring the surfaces level before painting,
i know the easiest thing is to buy another one and i will in the future when funds allow but for now i would like to see if i can fix it, i used to make 1/12 tamiya motorcycles so i have a small airbrush (before heli's took over my life) and i still have quite a few tamiya acrylic paints but i'm not sure if they are suitable for fibreglass
thank's for the input
Anthony new furion 6 owner

Furion 6 canopies were made by Canomod, maybe you can ask them.

Mine is covered in blenderm tape, but nobody can see that when it zooms by...

you can fil the paint chips with CA or epoxy resin, and then sand it smooth. I think you probably better off scuffing the entire canopy, throw down a thin layer of primer and starting from scratch. either start your own scheme or try to recreate the original. if your primer layer is thin enough, you may be able to see the original lines and recreat the scheme in consistent colors. just don't go over board as the paint build up may increase the weight.

Unless if you have all the items on hand already to repair it, I wouldn't bother. By the time you purchase paint, filler, sand paper etc. you'll probably be near the cost of a brand new canopy. Once you get further than 50' away, they all look the same. Not to mention once you get it flying the canopy will be the last thing on your mind.
