Default Old Trex 250 governor mode on or off?

Hi

The I have an older 250 that I have been working on for a very long time and I was wonder are people on this board flying with the governor mode on or off? right now mine is on and its doing some weird things now that I am past the fly for a min land make some adjustments then repeat. I'm wondering what others are doing?

Thanks

C

+1. I've never tried it with my V1 250, but back when I got it years ago the general consensus on HF was that the governor was pretty flaky.

thanks

I thought that was the answer, as I listen to the tones it appears my stock esc has it turned on,

now I need to figure out how to turn it off.

Default Update

I did some work on it today, did one hover in my basement had some tail wag with 18% gain. landed replaced the rod end on the tail push rod as well as the bellcrank at the tail rotor. did another hover and at first it seemed worse then after a min it seemed a lot better but still not good. took governor mode off. now its way improved I brought the gain up to 30% and no wag, I only did half a battery as my basement area is a bit small and the ceiling is low but major improvments. thanks for the help with it should be turned off as well as all the tail wag cures. I can't wait for spring time
