Default franken400

Heres my B400. I bought this from a fellow rc group member. The only thing I've done to it was added B450 main shaft and rotor head and skids, 65hb's for cyclic and Align canopy and tail fins. It has the stock motor with a 9 tooth pin gear, (which I added). The previous owner changed the ESC to an Align 35 amp with govenor mode....G401 gyro/HS5084mg servo for the tail....hobbyking ornge rx. Its a really smooth flyer and flys like its on rails now. Im also running a 75 flat throttle curve. This is my everyday go to flyer. Love it.

Looks good! I have 2 myself, one I'll keep stockish the other I think I will convert to FBL at some point. They really are pretty good heli's with a few changes mainly servo's and gyro.

Default FBL

nighttrain06: "The other I think I will convert to FBL."

Me too as you see in the last pic my other heli is the B450. My B450 has CNC tail case, extreme production 315mm blades, 65HB's for cyclic, stock ESC/Motor and the stock gyro/servo from another B450 I bought for parts, (gyro held better). I'm contemplating converting my B450 to FBL as well and installing it into a MD500 fuselage from Rc Aerodyne. Not sure if I want to cause I prefer the flybar. Simpler set up for me. I don't believe in all these fancy electronics to fly. Just an old fashioned Gyro and pilot skill to fly.

I have that canopy on one of my 400's also! Really like that design!
215's on cyclic huh? I will probably run those eventually on my Align 450's
Or the new servo I'd read about that they have out now
