Default Thanks to all at Bergen RC

Hello All,

I was the lucky recepient of the Bergen Tazer at IRCHA 2008.

I want to thank Chris and everyone at Bergen RC for such an incredible prize.

I am still awestruck when I look at it.

I would also like to thank Canopy FX for the beautiful paint job and also Thunder Power for supplying batteries.

This will be a giant leap from my Blade 400....so I have my work cut out to be worthy of such a fine flying machine

I look forward to seeing Chris and all the Bergen team soon to see my Tazer fly.

Thanks, again George Copas

Yes you are very lucky, now I'm really jealous! I have been waiting since May for mine to get finished, it doesn't feel fair, I hope its worth the wait. Great looking bird George, enjoy!

My buddy JC is still in a deep depression. He was set on winning either the Tazer or the Gasser Chris gave away! You will love the Bergen quality and customer service that comes with every bird.

George,

I'm still hoping for a turbine give away. That would be awesome. Then I could have a matching pair. Good luck with the Tazer, it's a great flying machine.

Lou

I'm depressed after not winning that bird... If you feel it's to much heli for you give me a call. I'm sure we can work something out.

I think it was the Tazer, the first winner drawn from the bucket couldn't be bothered to be at the drawing, he was on the flight line instead. Too bad, so sad....they drew another number.

Imagine how that guy felt

I heard from several people for days that you MUST be there to get prizes if your name is drawn. It was his choice to keep flying so I don't feel bad for him.

The first number drawn was for an MA Sponsored Pilot, Michael Wilson or Winslow, his wife or girlfriend was there with his tag and informed me that he was sponsored and to recycle it.

Exactly what we expect, and appreciate. As a Sponsored Pilot for MA, he would have no use for the bird except to E-bay it, which is kind of sad. It has happened before.

In a similar fashion, Holly Schwartz (sp?) recycled the Gas EB for the Volunteer drawing, as she doesn't fly, and her husband is sponsored. She drew another name, and we presented the Winner with his Kit together. I presented her with a Bergen Hat and Shirt to show my appreciation of her gesture, and to thank her for her volunteer work as well.

What does the Tazer cost and what comes with it?

Thanks!

EDIT*** Ah! Found it on your website. I like the new G-10 frames that are colored. Sweet!

I don't remember that being announced during the drawing. I had assumed that the sponsored pilots were the ones flying during the drawing, so that makes perfect sense.

It wasn't loudly announced, we just drew a new number. I should have announced it, if nothing else to recognize the gesture right then and there.

As I told in an earlier post, I do get nervous in front of a crowd, so I just went with it.
