I just saw the first video of the 12S Goblin 570 on the Goblin forums and TBH was not impressed. Compared to videos of the 6HVU being smacked around it looked sluggish and heavy... just my observation based on that one video.

Goblin are generally designed with a higher disk load for supreme "smackability".

Being a stretch from the 500, i highly doubt the 570 has high disk loading.

It's not a stretch... It's a completely new airframe...

It still shares a lot of parts with the 500 and the frames are just a bit bigger, so it wont be much heavier and should have a light discloading if their specs are correct. It will probably be a bit lighter then the 6hv but how much?

also that video would probably look a lot better with bert flying it

Having a pro fly it for promo is great for the company, but is unrealistic to expect the average Joe to fly the same.

I'd rather see varying skill levels of pilots flying it than someone like Bert. Pros know what maneuvers make their machine look good and which ones show the flaws in their machine and either avoid or compensate certain flight patterns accordingly to showcase their machines.

There is a much better 6s vid with Kyle Stacey and it does not want for power in the least.

Default We have to consider the repair cost two

I'm almost sure that repairing cost of the 6HVU will be less expensive than the repairing cost of a Goblin, a 570 or a 500, if we consider only the Goblins boom price, canopy price and a lot of other parts

That is a very valid point.

are you sure about that , everybody complains about the Goblin boom pris , I have hade several crashes with my G700 and the boom survives , never replayed the tail parts and still on my original boom , but my 6HV boom have never survived
yes the Goblin boom is expensive but considering the number of time you would need to replace it so the cost are not that bad

It's a 50/50 chance the boom survives. When I had Goblins, the boom would survive the initial crash but get kicked up into the blades and get damaged post crash.

This is my experience as well. I've had 2 crashes with my Goblin 500. The boom survived both crashes but got nicked up by the blades causing some damage. I had to replace the boom after the second crash.

Having said that, other parts of the Goblin generally survive pretty well in a crash. Its not the cheapest heli to crash but its not the most expensive either.

Regarding 6HVU vs. 570, I think the answer is that they are both just different. The Goblin 500 I have flies great on high head speeds and is very fast and agile. It feels a heavy on 500mm blades but I really like it since it allows it carry momentum thru maneuvers.

My 6HVU has a totally different feel. It flies 'floatier' than the Goblin and that has its own advantages. Its fast and precise but in a different way.

I don't think either will be better or worse than the other, they are just different. Best option is to try and do a test flight on both and go from there.

My experience is there is no cheap heli to crash.

It really depends on how it goes in and a number of incalculable variables.

I would think with 100 crashes on both you would be pretty close overall in cost.

There is nothing on the 570 that makes me go ooohhhh.

Now if they came out with a 250.....
