Default BC6 Outrage 2s1p 800mah charge problems. Help please

Hi,
I have been using this charger for a year or so and am familiar with it.

Problem: Bought new Outrage packs with the TP type connector. Replaced the connectors very carefully one wire at a time etc with Align taps soldered to the wires about 1 in from the pack. Charger wont charge them any which way! It starts runs for 1min or so then emits one beep, the screen flashes off and it goes back to first screen "lipo charge 7.4 (2s) 0.4A"

Checked the pinning against my stock APlus 2s1p850mah. Neg in same position, first + closest reads 3.81v next reads 7.6V.

The cells are reading within .01v of each.other.

I am trying to condition these as I was advised by charging at 1/2c, discharging 1c to storage (2x) before proper charge and use. Tried other settings with same result.

Battery is connected to Wattsuprc 2s adaptor lead straight to side of charger. I also tried with the adaptor board supplied with the charger and same thing.

So far I have balance charged Pack 1 at 0.4A and discharged at 0.4A to 3.8v

Pack 2: New

Problem consistant with both.

suggestions please???

Edit Pictures attached.
One of the battery (have 2) has been successfully balance charging at 1c (.8) for 6 min with no probs. Didn't do anything I hadn't tried before. Stopped it at this point, restarted and been fine for 2min. It would shut off within 1 min b4. Something to do with these particular packs??

2nd Edit: Charge just completed but instead of the normal melody BC6 only emitted 1 beep. Cells 4.2v each.

Tried pack 2 and same original problem.

Edit: Got pack 2 to balance charge at .8amp and the charger only emitted 1 tone screen blinked off and didn't show "lipo full" as it normally would however pack reads 8.4v.
