Watched my first jet in person last week.

My club had it's annual Fun Fly a little over a week ago. Until that time, I had only seen these things in videos. It had great short field performance, and was also very fast in the air. This pilot (from a neighboring club) flew twice before I got there and filmed this, his third flight. After this flight I was told that he didn't open it up like he did on the previous flights. I thought he was going pretty fast.

It was nice and loud, and fast, and I can hardly wait to see one fly again!

Bob, if you ever get to SoCal, come with me to the club one day. You'll see at least one jet and probably more like 3 or 4.. (Oh, and my turbine. hehe)

I have family in Northern and Southern Cal, I wish I could make it back more often than once every few years.
