Default Crashed and i need a whole no-electronics kit to fix??!

Well if this isnt the day...

Tried some rainbows after testing my camera base, and bang it hit the ground with the tail really hard. Not so familiar with saving inverted errors yet. Last second before it drops trying to save it, i realized the moment had come so soon after 10 flights :///

So this seems to be a quite fragile buddy eh??

- main blades broken, perhaps feathering, thrust bearings not good, main shaft needs check i am unsure, main bearings worn, swashplate makes a small click rotating the 2 pieces (!) , pitch rods bent one broke, aileron servo stripped
- all 4 umbrella gears stripped, main slant gear stripped
- tail blades broken, tail boom broken, torque tube broken, tail fin broken mid fin and mount broken, boom supports broken and lost, tail control rod i dont even know where it went, servo arm broken, servo MOUNT broke 1 screw (!!), bearings on the tail not ok, thrust bearings and grip bearings unsure
- both frames cracked, one at crucial point where aileron servo mounts. the other on the skid. Oh skid totaled also.
- canopy mount silver screws bent, canopy broken in 2 points and in general too scratched
- edit: i found the head arms to swashplate also bent. both.

Just wow.. Imagine it crashed 13 meters away from me and the battery came to my feet.

So what would you do... Fix it by parts and upgrades? Buy another no-electronics kit? Buy a logo 600? Quit the hobby? No thats not an option. I am just unsure of how to proceed, it is certain i will spend a lot.

From what you list is sounds like a re-kit. I would head up to eBay and see what guys are selling for 550E's wth no electronics.

Sorry about the wreck....hate it when that happens....

The 600EFL was designed around 12s and I really wouldn't recommend running it on 6s. I'm not saying that you couldn't do it but I personally wouldn't for many reasons that I don't have time to explain right now. You might want to do some searching over in the 600 electric forum and see if anyone has done this. I can't recall ever reading about someone doing this on the new airframe....
