but I do know is I have been flying this around for some time now.... Heres a little story Originally G4 was suppose to be all belt drive but later on I decided to make it use align gears for fear no one would want to invest in the all belt drive heli frame kit due to X $$$ amount. A while back I posted an original G4 picture on RC Groups which I can't seem to find may have to take a new picture may do it any ways because there is an actual frame size difference between it and todays G4 and would like to show comparison well any way here is some photos of V2 All belt drive heli. If I decide to make some kits. It will require you to put this on your existing G4 frame. Some cool features are heli drops in sound by about 40db+ You will notice when flying and the heli is just a short bit away it is very quite, to the point you don't here anything. BIG BONUS when you crash you don't waste main gears anymore belt either pops off or you chicken dance in addition it no longer has a driven tail so Baby autos can be achieved :thumbs-up2: Down side is you gain about 10 grams in weight due to extra bearings required. Here is something that would be real cool is if we could conVince  some blade MFG to make some prototype mainblades in the 340 to 350mm range as there is room to mount these bad boys

Charley has been flying it for a while now and it is pretty sweet. It almost sounds like a wimp with low head speed it is so quiet.

A larger G4 frame would be awsome. I want the larger frame with the belt drive. Now that would be the best Trex.

Actually.. That V2 belt drive looks great. I just noticed that not only are you running the tail belt but also one off the MAIN GEAR to the motor pinion ! :glasses:  Wow !! |

OK Charley, quit holding out on the G5 or G4V2BD (for belt drive). There are a lot of willing beta testers with itchy PayPal fingers just waiting to do their thing.
