Aeolus 50 Receiver Mounting
Hey everyone, I recently had a major crash... well the heli boom struck while in a hover... same thing, just it hit itself not the ground. I'm thinking that maybe my receiver lost signal and did something funky, i honestly have no clue. But i'm trying to mount an AR7610 receiver and satelite onto the bird and have no room for the satelite on the electronics tray, unless mounting it on the back of a servo. anyone have any pictures of their setups with RX's and the satelites? want to make sure I have a good link!
thanks |

Hi,
Haven't Spektrum Tx/Rx. Cornsidering nobody replied yet, in the following some hints. I'm using Futaba Rx mounted on the A50's plastic servo-tray - sideways mounted. Mounted the Rx there on all of my Aeolus birds and no problems so far for many flights. If your crash is not a mechnical issue, it's possible your Rx having some defect ? I remember some people on my FF: - having defect Rx after a hard crash and re-using the Rx in the rebuilt or even new bird (same result) - having loose/ defect servo cables or step-down-cables (e.g my Align 5.9V - 5.1V) Can't remember some static problems, when I used the belt-driven tail of the Aeolus 50 3D GF. Maybe someone experienced some static problems (if so) and jumps in. Best Regards, Oliver |
