Default Mini protos tail box combo

I flew my Mini today and had a little trouble with tail hold. I put the Lynx combo tail box kit on and seen it is much tighter with way less slop. Going to give it a fly before I try to tune any more.

A good friend gave me one BNF at IRCHA, so I gave my X3 BNF to a team mate.
Pay it forward.

Love how quiet it is. Smooth but has a few places that IMO need upgrading. Great bird with some minor needs.

Even as a sport flier I am finding what people bring up as week points with just my few flights. But other than them (slowly correcting them), it is a great bird.

That's awesome, I built one not too long ago and love how light/quiet it is!

It's not a necessary upgrade but I like how mine flies with the dfc head:cool:
Now if only I could get one for its big brother....

Same here. I'm a sucker for DFC. Like the feel and ease of putting canopy on and off. lol

Now that you mention it, the dfc head does make it easier to put the wraparound canopy on & off. It's a nice bonus but not deciding factor. The heli feels more precise & responsive. Granted I could credit some of the precision to the Lynx dampers and Halo 360 blades that got installed at the same time (All crash repairs) but I would bet the dfc played a big part. Only thing now is I need is to find a servo arm that fits to replace the cracked one on the tail and 6s power to better handle the longer & wider Halo blades.

Your thoughts are spot on. Only change I made at this point was going DFC head combo only, and the handling felt more locked in, even not being fully tuned in yet to my style.
