Nice fleet. I see a trend.

What are you figuring out on the camera? (Another hobby of mine) White balance?

Heres my fleet...ncpx, mcpx bl, 450l dominator, warp 360, 550x, and a 700x. I also have a 150dfc but I asphalt darted it so its not pic worthy. I gotta say though all that broke were nicked blades and the swash. That thibg smacked the pavement hard too!

I_Bent_It how does the TRex 450l Dominator and the Warp 360 compare? Which do you prefer?

They are so different it's hard to compare. I have the 6s super combo dominator. 3600RPM, It flys like an incredibly stable brushless micro. Zips along rock solid, SUPER fast, and extra responsive. If I'm not careful with it, it sure could get 2, 3, 4, etc many more steps ahead of me at this skill level. The 450L just can't emulate a big heli like the Warp does.

On the other hand is the Warp. It runs a 1700kv Turnigy motor and a 16t pinion. All RJX Servos, the tail is a mini, with a Kontronic esc, and a CC BEC because the tail servo overloads the internal ESC BEC. I fly it around 3600-3700RPM. It flys like a 700. Slow and nimble in the air. It can be smacked around and flown quite fast, Not to mention the sound! I'd love to hear a Warp style drive setup in a 700!

Crash worthiness hands down goes to the Warp. I'm dunked both of them. The Warp breaks the crappy plastic tail grips all the time, and canopy posts. Main shaft and spindle have survived unharmed about 6 crashes. Never broke a frame. Always the tail grips and canopy posts! Sometimes landing skids. The 450L has had one incident where it hit an outdoor light in stunt 2. Main shaft twisted like a pretzel, DFC links snapped inside the DFC arm so I upgraded to the Lynx version.

There's my mini comparo

Thanks for the comparison. I am planning to replace my beater 450Xs with a Warp 360... its nice to know it can take the abuse.

Gave away 4 helicopters last year to someone that could use them more than me and sold two. Down to 4, that's all I need.

New skids for the 550. Thanks Jeff, they look great. Rake is PERFECT. Other 500 isn't finished enough to be picture worthy yet, hopefully soon. Just need a tail servo and FBL unit.
