I am sure you are looking forward for the corn harvesting around your place. You will have a lot of open space for the "Happy Flying"

My first attempt at actually sharing a video from my 180QX!

The original intent was to test out the new camera mount to see if it got rid of the jello, and it did, but the wind was bouncing the quad around badly enough that it was fairly bumpy anyway. Tried out Youtube's "vibration removal" tool, and it is kind of an interesting result! Don't think I'll use it again, though, I'm not too fond of that moving black border.

Turned into a 20-minute, rousing game of "catch the quad!!!" for the little kids.

Just flying around without any particular point, was a good afternoon for it! Occasional puffs of wind to bob the quad around a bit, but not too bad overall.

Tested out how well it handled a rapid descent by simply chopping off all power and letting it tumble, then cramming the throttle back up to stabilize. Seems like a valid method of emergency descent (grabbed by wind, etc) but not something to do regularly. These things don't fall flat at ALL, they tumble more or less instantly!

This shows the jello-reduction on the new mount a lot better than the previous video. I wonder if I would get additional reduction if I added another layer of silicone tape between the plywood mount and the camera...

Picked up the new GoPro Hero entry level cam. Its pretty darn good for $129.00!
Finally I can shoot some video. This is a real quick test of the settings on the cam wearing a hat mount.
