Dennis, Andy glad to see a couple of guys are still here. I took a looooooong break from helis in case you were wondering. I have been flying again since Aug. I got a few little IR 3ch helis they were fun but easily outgrown. Next thing ya know I see the Mini CP with Devo 7E and I had to have it. Then the New V120D02S, which is awsome and my current favorite bird, was a must buy. Black Friday rolled around so I got a 9E solopro 328 for $40 RTF why not? Then jolly ol Christmas landed a QR InfraX under the tree for me.

Im lookin to get another 450 and perhaps another 500.

nothing really changes.... well the technology sure has since I went on leave.

ATM all of my helis are down...

I flew/crashed through about 12 packs on the quad after stripping it completely bare of the collision detect/altitude hold board. 1st flight a motor crapped out I replaced it with a used spare, then did 2 passes in the street and up high for a flip.... It flipped alright but before I put it in stunt mode... cause another motor crapped out... i couldn't upright her....I wasn't in stunt mode...

needless to say but she smashed upside full throttle and bent the motor that crapped out shew. 1 spare left so I slapped it in and it flew flawless the rest of the 11 packs till another motor crapped out... i was coming in hot nose in then the damn thing spun and hooked at my face

i ducked, It crashed and now I patiently wait for parts which should be here in a couple days for the NEW V120D02S!!!!

It can handle hellatious winds and strong gusts as well or better than my Hdx 500... which raises a question... I'll start a new thread. Anyhow, parts for the Mini CP and quad should be here in a week or less and the nine eagle 328 is crap and I ran out of money for turd polish. Im getting tons of stick time since its winter. I'll fly (heli in the air) for an hour to two each day I can (which is most days) and that usually takes most of the daylight. I have progressed a lot. I crash the quad lots and the V120 not so much. I can usually go 50ish flights before i dump her. Now that nose in is my beotch

All done! All setup too!

I had to add a TT shaft and tail pitch slider to that list. Shes all greased up and running smooth. MY secret recipie is use white servo grease and a drop or two of Shimano fishing reel oil. Well its dark now but I know of a lit lot to go try her in.

Wow she flys great

The tail holds rock solid.

I had to take the gain down from 96.5% down to 74.5%. I really got to test the tail good too with the strong gusty winds tonight. I flew two 8 min packs which is plenty with black blades and no heli lights in the weird amberish lit lot. I seem to have more throw out of the new tail servo and a faster piro rate

it's the same servo. Works for me though.

Now I'm startin to get really itchy fingers till morning comes. Go figure.
