Default Graphite Bell Crank Set - MA125-133

Hi

I have bought one of the above bell crank sets for my Spectra G.

Are all three of these bell cranks supposed to fit?

The two side bell cranks are OK but there is no way that the rear elevator bell crank will mount on the pivot stud due to the diameter of the bearing and mounting plate.

It ends up being too close to the rear metal channel that holds the tail shaft bearing.

The plastic kit supplied bell crank has a circular cut out on it to clear this metal channel but the graphite upgrade part apart from being too big does not.

Have I got the wrong part supplied in the kit here or is there a different metal channel available?

Ideas?

No, you haven't got the wrong parts, but unfortunately it is neccessary to modify the rail. While these parts work on the Fury, Tempest, and Stratus, for the Spectra G a small amount of material from the rail will need to be removed.

Unfortunately, we don't have a pic, but it would simply be using some kind of grinding bit to remove a bit of material from the rail where it "would" contact the bell crank. It should only be a few MM of material that would need to be removed.

I'm sorry, I guess I didn't get your email for some reason.
