Default Main shaft and bearing issues

Has any one of you experienced this? I've been noticing some vibes lately so I started chasing things down and removing parts one at a time. Come down to the main shaft an noticed the shaft is spinning in the bearing. I could rock the main shaft in the radial direction. I've tried 2 other new shafts and same result. So I'm guessing this bearing is defective (got some replacements on order). So could a main shaft spinning inside the bearing cause vibes? The inner race of the main bearing doesn't even turn if I spin up without blades.

Vibes are definitely possible if you could take the mainshaft and move it and feel play. Both of mine had zero vibes, just loud-ish gear noise until the 4th flight then they meshed in nicely and became quiet.

Guess I'm grounded until I get some new bearings and replace to see if that even fixes the issues. I hate chasing vibes.

Yeah 6901zz is 12x24x6...which is the same for my Goblin 700 and Trex 700N main bearings. Have 12 on order and should be here sometime this week. Hope this fixes it.
