im such a newb and all the lingo is too much for me. what's HH mode? haha and i still dont know what rate mode is...

my problem is that my tail keeps drifting to the right when im trying to hover, and i constantly have to trim the rudder. i have an align gp750 gyro with a ds520 digital tail servo. i dunno if this effects anything, but the LED status on my gyro is RED, but when i watched finless bob set up his gp750 gyro on his 450 pro his LED status was GREEN. what's the difference and does HH mode or Rate mode have anything to do with my issue?

Red led means rate mode
You should use green let to have HH mode !

start reading! Look at the many links in the newbie section.. ignore the blade 400 reference since they apply to ALL helis.

To switch to HH mode you need to increase gyro gain past 50% on the gyro.
HH is in fact head holding, or head locking. It is a mode in which the gyro will control your rudder input in order to maintain the entire helicopter pointed into the same direction.

So basically, if you have wind, cyclic input, forward/backward flight or anything that could yaw the nose, the gyro will automatically correct for it.
