Default HH Brushless Causing Tail Issues

Good afternoon Helifreaks,

I recently replaced the tail assembly with another stock tail assembly on my nCPX, and then just today i installed the HH brushless conversion on my heli. However, I realized that the tail seems to blow out very very easily now, as opposed to every once in a while when I smack the sticks for the stock motor. I understand that the brushless motor has a heck of a lot more power, but the tail is brand new (only been used about 4-5 flights) and shouldn't be causing the problem. I haven't been able to find a sufficient thread to solve this problem on here, so I am wondering whether the correct thing to do is find an upgraded tail assembly, or change setttings on my transmitter. Please let me know, I am fairly new to upgrading helis as the nano is my first CP heli, and the first heli that I have flown 3D with. Other than that, a brushless motor really kicks some serious butt on this little bird!

Thanks all,

Brad

You can check if your main shaft is twisty by holding the main gear and twisting the head gently. Should be virtually no twist to it. Sometimes that can cause tbo. Also check for vibrations which is the main cause usually due to one thing or another, possible blade balance problem. Another thing would be to try a lynx 42mm tail prop or even a 7mm motor, but should not be necessary if vibe free.

Mine was getting a little tbo today and it was a twisty ms.

Seems as though I do have a small vibration, but I just changed out the main shaft. Must be a blade balance problem or something along those lines. Really hard to find where it is coming from.
