Build Help Blade Grips
Hi,
Building my 700 and it going pretty well, but I seem to have an issue with the blade grips. The arms aren't seating into the grove of the grips. The grove is just a bit too narrow for the arm to sit flat. Is this normal and I just need to crank it down, or do I have a problem? I got the kit from Peak and they inspected it before they shipped it to me. (Very cool) They found that the blade grips were missing from the bags,so they included grips in a separate package. The part number on them is 538a instead of 538 like in the manual. Not sure what the difference is between these. Thanks R.J. |

538 is for 4mm blade screws and 538a for 5mm.
Remove the arm and make a pic from the contact side. There must be a big chamfer on both flanks.

What's up with this? Guy has an issue with a Kit and within 4 hours the Designer/Manufacturer jumps in to help and brings in the distributor! Setting the Bar really high for the others. Way to go Minicopter, and Peak. .

Incredible customer service from Peak. I just got my 700 kit and I got an email from Chuck sending replacement parts.

I think this has something to do with the type of customer that's drawn to this Heli. Not your midnight at Walmart crowd. Easy for Chuck and Gerd to trust their average customer not to screw them over!

That’s an interesting observation OverTemp. There is definitely something very special going on here. I’ve received amazing support from Peak, Minicopter, their team pilots, and customers.
