... I have read this thread a number of times from start to finish.
I'm glad others understand electronics because most of it baffles me.

Anyway... so I want to change the way my 550 runs.

At the moment I run 2s unregulated. I run it through the X2 but have the 3 HV outputs on the X2 going into empty slots on my RX. All servos are plugged into the beastx.
At the moment I have DS610s on cyclic and a Savox 2272 HV tail servo. I hope to upgrade the DS610s to Savox 2271s when I can afford it.

My goal is to replace my AR8000, Beastx and Reactor X2 all with the AR7200BX.
(Out of interest I intend to run the microbeast on my 450 with a sat.)

I have built an XT-60 - 3 JR connectors lead to run from my rx-lipo.

As far as I can see there should be 3 empty ports on the AR7200BX. The aux 2, aux 3 and bind port. Does this sound right or will there only be 2?

Yes your port count is correct. I run 2 power feeds direct from 2S lipo on it as well…

i have not opened my beastx or ar7200bx to see what the traces look like,

saying it has certian amount of amp current flow and showing it are not the same

but maybe a y harness and ditching the powerbus might be a good idea.

the only other thing is i have 6 less wires to transmit vibration, i know the beastx doesnt mind vibes like other fbl units,,, so i may do the y harness
right off my 2s lipo
