Hi Bladerunner I haven't played with programming ESC or FBL units as all of my heli's have been bnf the fbl units I slightly understand but not the esc's I thought they were all PNP so why would you need a program card thanks for all your help so far can't wait for parts to arrive

Ok here's how I got mine setup Brake/OFF Cut off Type SOFT/CUT Cut off Voltage HIGH Start Mode VERY SOFT Timing Mode LOW Governor Mode OFF you Definitely want start mode to Be Very Soft hope this help's

Hi guys
Thought I would give you an update ( but it's not good) ,got the 5 blade head , couldn't use the sharft they sent with it as to short so went with the old 4503d sharft to get the length I need to phase it correctly ,phase the all the blades at 90degress as seen in some vids and left all settings the same ,had the maiden flight flow very doughy and very slow to respond ended up in the bushes so back to the build table , I have bought a turnigy 3DH V2 flybarless system that I think I will install to help me fly this monster I have created , are there any other settings I should adjust to help control this heli any help would be greatful as I really love the look of it and I would hate for it to just collect dust on the shelf

Hey I forgot to tell you that you will have to use the B450 shaft Sorry!!! You also may have too file the Shaft down in order to get the holes to line up to bolt the Head on

Hi guys all good bladerunner got that all sorted, but now I have a new problem, thought I would set the heli up with a new model in the rx so tried to bind to a new model all I got was one blink on the rx and nothing else and it has unbound itself from the original bind and I cann't get it to rebind is there a reset button on the rx or has my rx died, this build is becoming a nightmare but I'm determine to see it through,

Hi bladerunner YE tried to setup a new model in the rx so I could start from scratch and I think that killed the rx , so I gess that I'm up for a new rx for the heli I have a walker 450 with a 6 axis gyro in it and was thinking of putting that into it so at least I could get it in the air and tune the blades in , and see how it flies , if all goes well with that I will get another rx and put the turnigy 3H D flybarless unit into it

I'm running 325 CF blades for now ,but I think I will be looking at the plastic 5 blade set soon, I am waiting on the 13 t gear as I forgot to order it at the same time I have everything else ready to go, motor , esc and have a new rx comming , and have replaced the main shaft as I think there was a slight bend in it,I think I will have a go at settingup the FBL system while I've got it on the bench as well, hopefuly a week or so away and I'm in the air for a trial run I will keep you posted

I have a Question you have the Motor rite the holes for mounting that motor are larger than the holes for your stock one so you have to get larger screws

I know you will need different Screw's I had to go too my LHS sorry I don't remember the size of Screw You probably would have to take it with you too get the rite size that's what I did.

All good the bolts out of the old motor fit but found that the ESC I ordered dosen't have an internal BEC so I have to order a BEC I was wondering if the turnigy FBL unit will work with this setup, I'm not sure if there is an phasing in the unit or if it can all be done manuelly ??
