I'm very new to the whole TDR world, just got this one a couple months ago. I am running lower headspeeds on a couple of my helis so the TDR is currently at about 1300 in idle-1 and 1450 in idle-2. Hovering at around 1000.

The setup is: 2009 model, all stock (as far as I know)

Align 750MX/450 with 13 tooth pinion
Jive 80HV and buffer pack
JR 8717s on swash and 8900 on the tail
Spartan VX1e currently using '3D' preset, only change is slightly lower swash gain and slightly higher agility
Edge 713s and Rail 106s
Weight without main blades or flight packs is 3.06kg Total takeoff weight with 4000mah packs 4.7-4.8kg

I'll probably put an ultra guard on mine as well. I realised a while back that the 800mah buffer pack was not powerful enough to run the servos in case of a BEC failure so I added a Fromeco DCup, which works fine but I could also just swap both items for one ultra guard.

But otherwise it's excellent, so simple and just works so well.
