This is just a personal opinion cuz when ya gotta have it, ya gotta have it. In this hobby, it seems especially difficult sometimes to resist the urge to bling out your heli, spend money unnecessarily and long before you really need to spend it. I've done exactly that time and time again. It seems all too easy sometimes to think that purchase of this part or that part will automatically make the heli fly better. Kinda like purchasing a sniper rifle when you can just barely handle a .22. May as well save the money until you master the .22.

In the end though, only "you" know what'll make you happy so if you want the T-Rex skids and you feel that they'll not only look better but perhaps make the heli more stable in landing, then order up a pair. I've only been screwing around with this sport for about 3 years but it's taken me awhile to realize that unless my flying skills justify it, I don't order or replace parts until the old ones are broken. These helis, even in their "entry level" form, are capable of doing a lot more things than I am! Just the 2 cents from someone on a limited budget.

I could use an excuse to post a few more pictures.

I must say that I am a huge fan of these skids. I think they just match the heli with the two colors of black and white. They look like they were designed to match the tail boom and fins. The size looks just mean and the added stability is a benefit for me as well, along with the cushions. And for $6?! You bet!
