Has TORCH club ever considered having the OHB event at a different time of year?
The current event has always been just after Thanksgiving and before the Yankee Christmas crush. Yes it is a short slow season in FL first half of December. However most colleges are in exam mode at that time, so young pilots can't make it.

I would think something like 1st or 2nd week of February would be ideal. New Years & Super Bowl are over and Easter is a ways off. Early February the snow birds would really be motivated to get out of the frozen tundra for a warm weather break. First half of February is also a slow time in FL a month before the spring break madness.

Just a thought.

Thinking about making plans to attend this year. The weekend before finals but mine are the following Thursday and Friday.

The 9th edition of OHB is in!

As you guys know, this is THE event to go to every year, lots of pilots, lots of fun, IRCHA format, but much smaller making it more personable and enjoyable.

RV Parking:
All RVs are subject to a parking fee and must pre-register above, no exceptions please. There are limited RV spots available, please make sure to register early. RVs can arrive as early as Wednesday and must be out of the field by Monday.

4:00 PM: Auto rotation contest
5:00 PM: Raffle!

Sunday:
8:00 AM: Field opens

* The auto rotation contest will take place at one of our flight stations, pilots can sign up during the event at the registration booth.

Do we know if Experience RC will be there this year or do we need to bring parts with us?

Experience is coming, but not with their trailer, so they more than likely won't have parts. We should have some vendors on site, but I would recommend bringing parts to be sure!

Thats sad, the experienceRC trailer was awesome to have when you needed that one little part you left 600 miles away.
Hopefully it will be back next year!
